It’s been a week since I got home from Mexico and I have all the images ready for Jen & John’s return this week.

The day started off really early… too early. I got up at 4am wanting to get a shot of sunrise on the pier. I didn’t know what time the sunrise would happen so I made sure I was early as I would only have one shot at it. Turns out the sunrise is around 5am, so I got to hang out on the pier waiting for the sun to rise for about an hour.

After I got these shots I took a well deserved nap in time for breakfast and yoga. If you know me, right now you’re probably thinking “Yoga, Jon? Really?” Well, no. I didn’t actually partake in morning yoga, but the girls did a 9am session on the pier and I was there with camera in hand.

The wedding itself was great. Everything ran smoothly throughout the day, with the exception of a little rain during dinner, which proved to be a minor setback once everything was moved indoors. I certainly had a fantastic time with this great couple and their guests, and I could tell that everyone really enjoyed the day as well.
