I have been working really hard since I moved back to Ontario from Calgary. Many things have changed and all for the good. I decided to kick things off with a new design of my website. I thought having something a bit more creative would showcase my work a little better. The images are larger, too – which can’t hurt!

I have a lot of content still to add but I just couldn’t wait to show it off.

Sorry to all those running IE6. I know the logo must look strange, but that will be fixed shortly.

I was thinking the other day about leaving Calgary and the West, and realized I had never been out in the mountains in the summer before. I am in the mountains every weekend in the winter, but never in the summers. I knew I had to take a photo trip before I left, and time is running short. My time frame wasn’t strict, my locations flexible. All I knew is that I would head as far as Jasper and back, and capture as many locations as possible. I am more then happy with the results and am pretty sure I will try and make these missions more of a tradition. Hopefully once or twice a year in different locations.

I have lived in Calgary for 6 months. It is a great place, and I especially love it in the winters (I love to ski). There has just been something missing and I really needed to make a quick decision where I wanted to live in the summers for the long term. It was a hard choice, but I made the decision to move back to Ontario to the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).

To those in Calgary that are still interested in booking me for their wedding, please do not hesitate. I plan to be in the Calgary area frequently. I will be back and forth quite a bit over the next little while.

I am happy to announce that my new blog is now up and running! It was just a matter of time before I set one up.

I am excited that I will be able to share little snippets of each wedding and engagement shoot that I do. You will see many new images that come through this blog that may not end up in my portfolio pages. I will try to keep a good mix to provide the most variety.

As the bride and groom, you need to be completely comfortable with your photographer. This is my little way to show you a little more about my personality and my work. My goal for any photography assignment, whether I am shooting a wedding, engagement shoot, or anything else is to make sure the two of you are having a great time.

Your photographer should be your absolute last worry on the day of your wedding. You are there to focus your thoughts on one another and enjoy yourself. I am there to capture those real moments that happen naturally in a very creative way.
